Resume for our weekend


Learnings: 

We worked a lot of the time together and helped us each other I thing that was the main reason, why we did a good end result but we should leave more time for submission, because we were not able to do it in time. The reason was; we used Webgl 3 and this version seems to be buggy, with webgl2 its working(as you can see now). But we all had a creat time and learnet new game dev skills and also soft skills, like team work.

Day 1:

Two days to create a game for the motto "Secret".... we was a team of 3 porgrammers (Justin, Eric and Kristian) and we all had almost no 2d experience. But exactly because that we decided to do a 2D game. After some hours of brainstorming on the first day, we decided to do a Alien cover game, with multiple levels... at the beginning we had a way too big scope but minimized it really cuick. We startet also with some basic things, like setting up the stories.


Day 2:

We did some good process on our basic mechanics and found really good assets, since we all were not good in art. We divided the task into 3 pieces; NPC, Player and Puzzle mechanic.
